Will you damage my door or my car?
Almost never. We pick or bypass first; drilling is a last resort and we will not drill without telling you first. For vehicles, we use proper automotive lockout tools that work on the door mechanism, not by prying the frame.
Do I have to be present?
For lockouts and vehicle work, yes — we need to verify ownership. For residential rekeys, deadbolt installs, or commercial hardware work, an authorized adult on the property is enough.
How fast can you get to me?
It depends on where the nearest tech is when you call. We will give you a real estimate when you call — not a marketing number.
Can you make a key with no working key on hand?
For most vehicles, yes — we generate a new key through the diagnostic port and program it. A few makes require dealer-only tooling; we will tell you if yours is one.
Do you charge an emergency fee?
After-hours calls are billed at a different rate than standard daytime calls. We will tell you that on the phone before we drive out — never as a surprise on site.
Can you cut a spare key on the same visit as a primary?
Yes, and it is cheaper than a separate visit later. We strongly recommend it.
Do you handle commercial accounts?
Yes. Property managers, retail tenants, restaurants, hotels, warehouses, and offices on rekeys, master keys, panic hardware, door closers, and access control.
What about high-security locks like Medeco or Mul-T-Lock?
Yes. Restricted-keyway hardware can be specified, ordered, and serviced. Some require a special order and lead time.
Can a smart deadbolt fail and lock me out?
Quality smart deadbolts have a backup keyway specifically to prevent that. We always recommend keeping a metal key in a known safe place.
Do you do master key systems?
Yes — designed on paper first, then cut. We document the system in writing for future reference.
What if you cannot fix my problem?
We will tell you straight, and we will not bill for work that did not solve the issue. We would rather refer you to the right person than waste your time.
